Barry Strauss is currently professor of classics and history at CornellUniversity and an expert on naval warfare. His skill for scholarship and flair in explaining historical events have made him a frequent participant on such TV programs as PBS's series 'The Greeks: Crucible of Civilization," the Discovery Channel's 'Great Battles – Alexander and the Battle of Gaugamela," 'Real Gladiators," 'Who Killed Alexander?"
