CHRISTOS PAPOUTSY Now Scheduling Lectures on Business Ethics & Corporate Social Responsibility ABOUT THE SPEAKER Mr. Papoutsy began his career and company in electronics at Hollis Automation in a garage with four employees. Under his leadership, Hollis and later Cooper Electronics, specializing in packaging electronics equipment, grew to become a world leader in the electronics industry with sales in excess of 200 million dollars. In 1988 Mr. Papoutsy divested himself of his holdings of Cooper Electronics, subsequently becoming a partner in a major Boston Venture Capital Company. A major philanthropist, he then formed a number of charitable foundations and recently endowed a chair in Ethics at Southern New Hampshire University. For his accomplishments, Papoutsy has received many awards, including Citizen of the Year Award, New Hampshire Patron of the Arts Award, E-Award “Excellence in Exporting”, Pericles Award, Medal of St. Paul, Arete Award from The Greek Institute of Boston, and Honorary Doctor of Law Degree from New Hampshire College (Southern New Hampshire University). As a speaker, Papoutsy prefers to participate with his audience as much as possible.
